Entertaining the residents with a holiday concert at  Westlake Leisure Gardens in Vacaville, CA - December 23, 2004
flutes of fancy offers  short concerts to the senior and retirement home communities at reduced rates.  Here are some suggested themes:

These delightful concerts last from 45 minutes to an hour and may be performed in the lounge, lobby, or as background music during a special meal. We can wear beautiful costumes or formal apparel  for some performances; for instance: Holiday  Potpourri - Old fashioned Victorian or Renaissance Valentine's and Mother's Day - Bert usually wears a tuxedo Renaissance Faire - Celtic costume Midsummer Night's Dream - all white, Renaissance-inspired  Eclectic International or Kleine Klezmer - Gypy-inspired ethnic costumes Father's Day and Fourth of July - Informal red, white and blue We wear dressy  business apparel for for Thanksgiving and Easter brunch performances so that we will be ready for our own family celebrations after the concert.
