We are honored by your feedback.
"Your music was very much enjoyed, and we're very appreciative of your time working with you on the set list. My parents loved your playing and were grateful that it wasn't loud contemporary music. It was just lovely and really added something special to our reception.....I hope to find reason to hire you again in the future!...." (December 2008 wedding reception)

"Thank you for making our wedding day so special. It was a dream come true."

If you are having a  destination wedding in California and wondering how to plan your wedding music, look no further. Selecting your ceremony music will be easy and enjoyable using our ceremony music planning sheet and the flutes of fancy sound samples provided below.

flutes of fancy's  music is best suited to intimate venues: small- to medium-sized churches, chapels, homes, gazebos, and courtyards.  We do not amplify our music, and our delicate sound and instruments do require protection from  elements such as excessive sunlight, moisture, or ocean breezes.

Our sample repertory contains music suitable for traditional as well as Renaissance theme weddings. Included are selections suitable for a reception or cocktail hour. Our sheet music library includes Renaissance, Baroque, light classical, folk,  and popular music. We love to explore new repertory, and  our library is constantly expanding!

We will be pleased to customize our repertory to your event and can consult  by telephone, e-mail, or in person about your wedding. Use our calendar link to  check  which dates are available. Your wedding date will confirmed after we receive your signed Performance Agreement and deposit. For more information about our wedding services, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions.

Hear Us:

Below you can preview 15 processionals and 9 recessionals.  We hope you enjoy sampling the variety of options available for your ceremony music.

Ten Tips for a Smooth, Stately, and Stunning Wedding Processional

Two of the processionals below are given with alternate instrumentations: violin/recorder or two recorders.

Purcell's Trumpet Tune is effective both as a processional and recessional and is therefore listed in both categories.

For the bride and groom desiring seeking unique music that is also lovely and ceremonial, we include some lesser-known selections.  Additional music in this category can be heard on our Renaissance Wedding page.
