New:  We now offer customized Audio Wedding Planner pages to help you plan and preview your ceremony music.

Your music was very much enjoyed, and we're very appreciative of your time working with you on the set list. My parents loved your playing and were grateful that it wasn't loud contemporary music. It was just lovely and really added something special to our reception.....I hope to find reason to hire you again in the future!...." (December 2008 wedding reception)

"Thank you for making our wedding day so special. It was a dream come true."

My wife .... and I recently hired Flutes of Fancy to play .... at our wedding ceremony in La Jolla. Their lovely playing add such an air of beauty and grace to the entire proceedings! Bert and Dorothy are such consummate professionals that I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them or use them again for some other reason. Thank you Bert and Dorothy!   (2012 Wedding)

Dorothy and Bert of Flutes and Fancy were very accommodating in all communications and worked with us to produce the best playlist for us for our wedding. They blended classical wedding songs with their Irish music to create a wonderful melody. Our guests loved them! And they arrived in costume for our Renaissance Irish theme  (2013 St. Patrick's Day Wedding)

We know the violin/recorder duo was a beautiful decision based on all the comments from our guests! They complimented all aspects of your music, from the music selections to your wedding attire. You were perfect for our intimate wedding in the Stonehouse at Temecula Creek Inn. Our only wish was we, the bride and groom, had more time to sit and listen and enjoy your music. Even the staff at Temecula Creek Inn was impressed. We know we made the best choice by having you play our ceremony music (July 2013 Wedding)

If you are having a Southern California destination wedding and wondering how to plan your wedding music, look no further. Selecting ceremony music will be easy and enjoyable using our ceremony music planning sheet and the sound samples provided below.

Our music is well suited to intimate venues: small- to medium-sized churches, chapels, homes, gazebos, and courtyards.  Kammeraderie, Our violin and recorder duo can perform either unamplified or amplified but requires protection from  elements such as excessive sunlight, moisture, or ocean breezes.

Our repertory contains music suitable for traditional as well as Renaissance and Celtic theme weddings. Our sheet music library includes Renaissance, Baroque, light classical, and folk music. We love to explore new repertory, and  our library is constantly expanding!

For brides and grooms who would like to include contemporary ballads or folkloric music in their prelude, cocktail hour, or dinner hour, please check out the new column to the right, which has links to new categories.

We will be pleased to customize our repertory to your event and can consult  by telephone or e-mail about your wedding. Use our calendar link to  check which dates are available. Your wedding date will confirmed after we receive your signed Performance Agreement and deposit. For more information about our wedding services, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions.

NEW The processional and recessional selections on this page are mainly from Classical and Baroque traditions and have stood the test of centuries. They are elegant, impeccable choices for your ceremony.

However, many of today's brides and grooms ask us to  customize their wedding or reception by adding some contemporary music or perhaps music that honors their heritage.

Those familiar with this website already know we have a vast collection of Celtic and Old English music for performance, both collected and arranged ourselves. This is one of our specialties. However, we've recently had inquiries about other diverse genres. To address this, we've created additional music categories that can be incorporated in your wedding reception. We've combed our music library and created lists to show you what other types of music are available for your wedding or event. The music on these lists includes duos and solos that can be included in your wedding prelude or cocktail/dinner hour.

All in a Garden Green is the name of a popular English Country Dance tune. We sometimes use it for a lilting bridesmaids' processional (hear it on our Renaissance wedding page). Many English Country Dances in our repertory would provide a lovely atmosphere for your garden or winery wedding.
